Day 1 – Arrival in San Salvador
Personalized welcome at Oscar Arnulfo Romero International Airport, gateway to El Salvador. Transfer to your hotel in the capital, nestled between volcanoes and valleys.

Day 2 – San Salvador, culture and nature
Discover the capital's treasures: the Metropolitan Cathedral, resting place of human rights icon Archbishop Romero; the National Palace with its Republican architecture; and the Military Museum showcasing the country's complex history. Lunch, then stroll through El Boquerón Park to admire the massive crater of San Salvador Volcano, perched at 1800 meters.

Day 3 – Suchitoto, colonial charm
Departure to Suchitoto, a colonial gem frozen in time. Visit the Museo Cotto and the Centro de Arte para la Paz, symbols of cultural resilience after the civil war. Stroll through cobblestone streets lined with vibrant bougainvillea.

Day 4 – Free day in Suchitoto

Guided tour of the Cihuatán Rum Distillery, then head to Joya de Cerén, a UNESCO World Heritage site nicknamed the “Pompeii of the Americas” for its remarkable preservation under volcanic ash. Continue to Santa Ana, the country's second largest city.

Day 6 – Santa Ana and Cerro Verde

Day 12 – Mangroves and monkey reserve
Boat excursion at Puerto Barillas: encounter howler monkeys, navigate lush mangrove canals, and observe tropical wildlife. Road to Conchagua.
